Avengers: Age of Ultron may have taken most headlines this weekend, but David Ayer wasn’t going to let Marvel hog all the glory.
Last night, the writer/director shared the first cast photo of 2016’s Suicide Squad – and it looks pretty damn fantastic.

While Jared Leto’s Joker is conspicuously absent, the rest of Task Force X is ready for duty: Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, and Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg. Adam Beach (far left) and Jay Hernandez (far right) were previously unannounced, but it appears they’re portraying Slipknot and El Diablo, respectively.
Suicide Squad is scheduled for major release on August 5, 2016.
